Lily camera is a new drone coming out in February of 2016 that promises great things. This device will follow you at a pre set height and distance and record your every move. Great for things from family activities to sports to anything your heart desires. This is the selfie stick on steroids!

Attach the wrist band and tracking device to your wrist, turn the drone on and toss it in the air. That’s all there is to it. The battery lasts from 18 to 22 minutes and the device is said to travel up to 25 mph. It takes about 2 hours to recharge the non-replaceable battery. It is water proof but they suggest not running the motors when it is under water. It currently does not have obstacle avoidance so if it is getting close to anything, you push a button on the wrist device and it stops and hovers. Don’t worry, the propellers are easily replaceable and available from the manufacturer. It flies in wind up to 20 mph but the mfg suggests not using it in winds over 15 mph. When the battery gets low, it hovers and softly lands itself. It is nicely compact to fit in most backpacks. It measures about 10.5 inches wide and long and under 3.5 inches high. The camera will shoot 1080p video at 60 fps and 12 mp pictures. It comes with a 4gb micro SD memory card but can be upgraded. It will also stream low resolution video to your mobile phone app so you can frame shots and program it.

They are taking pre orders at $599 to help with production costs but plan on a regular retail price of $999 once they start shipping them.

Don’t miss out on this one!
