Final stop. Princess Cays

unnamedFinal stop. Princess Cays

We recently returned from a 10 day cruise on Princess Cruise Lines. We were on board the Royal Princess. What a gorgeous ship! We visited 6 Ports including a private beach owned by Princess. There were several shops both inside the secure area and outside. There are many things to do, from dune buggy excursions to boat rides and snorkeling. We snorkeled. The beach was a little rough but once we were in the water, it was awesome! Tons of coral and fish to look at. We even saw a couple of cuddle fish. Very cool how they move through the water.

Cruises are amazing. You get to see different areas of the world and keep the same room. The food was amazing! So many different things to choose from. The “barfett” (buffet) had different selections and themes daily along with more common foods like sandwiches. Many fancy desserts to choose from. They had several different specialty restaurants that included pizza to salads, desserts to burgers and fries. They also have restaurants for regular sit down meals served by waiters and waitresses that have daily specials. We were fortunate enough to be able to experience the “Chefs Table”. This was a very special experience and only 36 people from the ship got to partake. The table only seats 12 at a time.  It was a little expensive ($115) but was well worth it. It included a tour of the galley and food prepared by the executive chef and wines selected by the head Maitre d’.
